ABOUT

Mirabel is a Meisner-trained on-camera and voice actor based in the Bay Area, California. Represented by MDT Agency, she has trained at  institutions like Bay Area Acting Studio, American Improv Theatre, and Voicetrax SF.

Before her acting career, Mirabel spent over a decade training in competitive latin and ballroom dancesport. As a former instructor and coach for San Jose State University’s collegiate ballroom dance team, SJSU Dancesport, she cultivated her passion for performance and mentorship. She continues to share her love of dance as a social dance instructor and performer at FanimeCon’s Black & White Ball, NorCal’s largest anime convention ball event.

Mirabel transitioned to acting after her time in competitive ballroom dancing, beginning her foundational training in the Meisner technique. She expanded her training into comedy, improvisation, and voiceover, landing roles in independent films and commercials in the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles. Currently, she is an instructor and coach for aspiring actors at Bay Area Acting Studio.

MAKIN' FILMS

As a dedicated actress and filmmaker, Mirabel thrives on bringing creative visions to life. She wrote and produced her passion project, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, an independent short film inspired by real events from her childhood. Shot on location at an active airport in San Jose, CA, the film is a tribute to the Bay Area’s aviation community.

Her collaborative spirit shines in projects like Departure, an award-winning short film she produced and starred in alongside filmmaker Robert Silver of Day One Films. In 2023, she joined The Maudlin Anthology, where she serves as casting director and producer for the group’s debut audio drama, The Voicemail Box is Full.

Outside of the film set, Mirabel loves teaching the joy of acting to aspiring actors in the classroom, ballroom and swing dancing, geeking out at anime conventions, plotting her next travel adventures, playing the Legend of Zelda, and hosting Adam Driver movie marathons with her pet cat, Theo.
